Having earned a bachelor's degree in culinary arts and food service management from Johnson and Wales University (JWU), Prachi Joglekar is a Knife Skills ServSafe certified culinary leader who works as supervisor at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Florida. While at JWU, Prachi Joglekar played on the women's ice hockey team.
The JWU women's hockey team, like all other teams in the New England Hockey Conference, won't be playing in 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but when the team does return to the ice, it will do so with a new head coach. Former Lindenwood University coach Katherine Hannah was named the team's new head coach this past May.
While at Lindenwood, Hannah led the team to a win-loss-tie record of 86-33-9 through four seasons. She also coached the team to the program-best of 23 victories in 2018 as well as two Western Women's Collegiate Hockey League Tournament Championships. She led Lindenwood to the ACHA National Championship game in her final year with the team.
Prior to beginning her coaching career, Hannah was a four-year player at Lindenwood and was twice named ACHA Division I Player of the Year. She won the ACHA National Championships with the team in 2006 and 2008.
